    The ten-week per grade level curriculum prepares students to be competent and responsible adolescents. Life skills presented focus on problem-solving and decision-making. Hands-on activities , based on the three New York State Standards of Personal Health, Safe Environment, and Resource Management, include career exploration, home safety, nutrition, and clothing care/construction. Instruction unique to the seventh grade is the Red Cross babysitting program. Eighth grade students work on a team entrepreneurship project which encourages the students to explore all phases of the world of work.
