Happy Fall

As we enter the month of October, we round out the first five weeks of school.   Interim progress reports will soon be available to all families.  We encourage you and your child to review their progress together and to also set goals for the remainder of the first quarter.  Please feel free to reach out to your child's counselor, teachers, or administrators should you have any concerns regarding their academic or social progress...we are here to help!

The fall months bring many events to Hoover Middle School and we look forward to your participation in them.  Those important dates are listed below for your reference.  Please remember that this Friday, October 7th, is the district-wide Emergency Early Dismissal Drill and students will be released 15 minutes early, at 2:53 pm.  Please note that the letter that previously went home indicated a release time of 2:56 pm.  The new time reflects the recent change we communicated to you last week regarding student schedules.

We certainly hope that your child has settled in to life in the middle school and is feeling part of our school community.  We encourage you and your child to become engaged in all that our school has to offer!!!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Persico

Principal
