Across the US and Canada, millions of students raise funds in honor of local patients. Friends, family and neighbors can all contribute to the classroom and school totals! You will be joining millions of students and teachers across the country who will raise funds to find cures and therapies for diseases like leukemia and lymphoma.
Why does Edison Participate?
Students learn to go beyond themselves, identifying the science behind cancer, the social emotional toll as illustrated through the arts and the implications of service to community.
By participating, not only will kids learn about making an impact, but about leadership, teamwork, philanthropy and what "doing good" for others can mean. As children move through their years at school, they can grow with the Student Series and have an even greater impact on the lives of patients.
The core program consists of collecting money over a several week period. To further engage the students, we will have dress-up days, volunteer faculy dress up at different $ levels and of course, an Olive Garden Lunch.
