Students in third and fourth grade at Franklin Elementary School have been enjoying a variety of engaging events and activities.
Kenmore East and Kenmore West students visited six elementary and middle schools over a two-day span and set up stations where they painted children’s pinkie fingers purple as part of “Purple Pinkie Day.”
Fourth grade students at Franklin Elementary recently completed a workshop called "Thinking Outside the Box" with a representative from Shea's.
Larissa Gramza, fourth-grade teacher at Franklin Elementary, created an after-school dance club for boys and girls in third and fourth grade which included five after-school sessions.
Two Ken-Ton teachers, one from Franklin Elementary School and one from Franklin Middle School, were featured in two different episodes of “Inside the Classroom.”
Every year, the Ken-Ton School District holds a special event that recognizes the importance of art education while at the same time thanking Board of Education members for their service.
