    ANNOUNCEMENTS

    Thursday, May 24th

    • Lacrosse players! Want to play this summer? Go to KenmoreLacrosse.com and register to play summer lacrosse for the KenTon DevilDogs. This is open to anyone grades 1-10, so tell your friends to join up too! See Mr. Miller with more questions or email coach Perry at APerry@ktufsd.org
    • Today is the last day for JDRF envelopes to be turned in. Any homeroom teachers that have collected envelopes, please turn them into the Main Office as soon as possible.
    • All library books need to be returned no later than June 4th! If you are a 5th or 6th grader who will attend FMS next year, you may take out up to 10 books over the summer with a signed parent permission slip, starting June 5th. See Mrs. Grabenstatter next week for a permission slip.
    • Reminder to Character Club members: There is no meeting this week. In the meantime, be very kind, relax your mind, and always unwind
    • We would like to recognize two of our students this morning. They are Ben Meder and Tessa Mihelbergel. Ben and Tessa, along with a number of other students, participated in solo festivals this year. Based on the high scores on the solos that they performed, both of these students were selected to play in the all-county band festival back in March. This was a very exciting experience and they represented Franklin Middle and the KenTon school district with honor. We are very proud of their achievement.
    • There will be no Chess and Checkers Club today.
    • Keep saving those Box Tops! Tell your parents to cut or tear them from the packaging after grocery shopping because our school earns 10 cents for everyone. It can really add up. Another Ken Ton school, Hoover Elementary, has made over $1000.00 this year, but Franklin Middle has only earned $111.20. Our school can earn a lot more, but we all have to save and turn them in!

Have an announcement? Send it to Mr. Miller at mmiller@ktufsd.org
